“A participant of the Latin Academy of the Stiftung politische und christliche Jugendbildung e.V. reports on the homepage of his high school about his experiences in Ostia Antica near Rome. With his Stowasser dictionary and Thomas Aquinas’ “Summa Theologiae” in his luggage, the committed student traveled to Italy together with 20 other young leaders. There he experienced lectures by leading professors, translated Aquinas’s Quaestiones, and participated in exclusive field trips, returning home with unique memories, valuable knowledge, and aroused curiosity about philosophical questions.”
