“The event offered young people the opportunity to explore various topics of philosophy, such as logic, freedom, education, the nature of man and his mortality, under the guidance of international professors from Rome, Frankfurt am Main and Notre Dame (USA). At the same time, various excursions between or after the events allowed students to get to know the university and the old town of Edinburgh with Rosslyn Chapel. To participate, students between the ages of 15 to 22 were eligible to apply nationwide. Twenty students with a philosophical interest, a good command of English, and a commitment to social responsibility were finally selected from all the applicants across Germany.”
