“Interest, openness and commitment are needed to be a part of the young leaders academy and I, Teresa Conze, a 16-year-old student of Wilhelm-Hofmann-Gymnasium St. Goarshausen, had the privilege to be part of it from October 29 to November 03, 2019 in Strausberg/Berlin. The young leaders academy is a foundation that promotes committed young people through projects such as the Youth Press Congress or the European Youth Debating Competition so that they can become the future political and economic leaders of Germany. Supported by the Ministry of Defense and the Stiftung politische und christliche Jugendbildung e.V. (Foundation for Political and Christian Youth Education), I was able to attend the academy with another 100 young people from all 16 German states.”
